Millions of print and online readers have accompanied Linda McKoy Stewart on the 100-plus globetrotting adventures she has chronicled during a career in journalism that stretches back to the 1970s. Her work as a travel writer has taken her from the North Pole to the jungles of Southeast Asia, and from the opulent resorts of Europe to the modest home of “Mama” Obama in Kenya.

Linda’s articles have appeared in nearly every major North American newspaper and her publishing industry résumé includes stints at Hachette, Edge Magazine, Racquet, Africa Update and Book of the Month Club. Her third book, 25 Months, published in 2004, is a powerful memoir of Linda and her husband Jack’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Linda has used Rumson, NJ, as her base of operations since the 1975.
